Good knocks by Prince, Gibbs and Boucher rescued South Africa in the first innings against some good bowling by Indians. A late knock of 31 by Morkel and 16 bi Ntini helped them cross the 300 mark. Prince definetely shapping up to be a good player for South Africa. It is time to rest [...] Congratulations India for winning the first test.   On a difficult bouncy track, I never expected Wasim Jaffer and Virendra Sehwag to last long. Veeru can be a match winner with his slogs but it cannot work on seeming pitches and against good fielding sides.  Â
It is good news for all cricket lovers that India beat s.africa and created history by winning first ever test match in s.africa.india gave their dose to them of bouncy and fast wickets. Here I will give full credit to our blowers who did a fantastic job. Our batsmen here also fail again exceptional are [...] A moral boosting win for India against rest of South Africa in four days counter. But here our so called batting star also failed again. It was all due to good bowling display by our pacers. And a little bit effort in batting from lower order especially from Irfan in both innings. Now if [...] The one-day series was a white wash and I am not surprised. It was much to expect us that laxman would perform well in the first match he will play after a gap of 1 year and that too on this bouncy tracks. Now leaving the bad memories behind, let us think as cricketers [...] As most fans of team India were hoping some fine finishing of series ,but our stars were thinking other way. Our master batsmen did again same way they were doing through all series. So at this I was not surprised much. Now it was turn of our bowler to follow the foot print of [...] At last at least a confidence building win! But not so much amazing about it, as in this match south Africa rest all their front line attack. So it was not much difficult to get a win against a second string attack.
